Hair & Make-Up

We are thrilled to have your interest in becoming an approved hair and make-up service provider for our 20/21 Christian Miss National Pageant.   It is our intent to offer our contestants every opportunity to enjoy this experience with all of their needs met.  Thank you for being willing to help us reach that goal!

 

All stylists, artists, and assistants must be licensed and provide their own transportation and lodging.  In order to be considered you must submit the following application and application fee.

There is also a $75 vendor fee that needs to be paid once you are approved.  This fee covers your banquet meal ticket (Friday night), entry into the pageant finale (Saturday afternoon), and a backstage access badge.

Things to Consider

Overnight Lodging

You will need to reserve your own guest room.  However, you can book with our discounted group rate.

​

Meals

Approved Vendors will only receive one meal at the Friday night banquet meal.  All other meals are your responsibility.

​

Product & Equipment

Space is limited so we ask that all your equipment and products are able to fit in one 62 quart container when you are in the designated vendor area.

Travel Costs

This varies for every individual but please factor this in when you set the price of your services for your clients.

Important Info:

* We will promote your services to our contestants on our social media pages, website, contestant portal and mailings. It is up to them to contact you to book you for the various competitions in which they'll participate.  Please don't overbook yourself. Set a realistic schedule you can easily stick to.

​

*Contestants will need hair/make-up services for competitions on Thursday (June 23), Friday (June 24) and Saturday (June 25) competitions.

​

* When contacted, please specify if your services are priced per day or per "look" (ex. a flat rate for hair and make-up each day or per competition look).  Please also specify if you will charge for touch-ups.  

​

* Hair stylists, when contacted please specify if you want your clients to arrive with clean hair or if you will wash it for them. 

​

*You may need to start applying make-up or styling hair early in the morning (6 AM or earlier).  We advise you setting up a corner in your guest room to accommodate these contestants.  Ideally, we'd only want you to use the designated vendor area backstage for touch-ups when needed.  Space is, however, limited. **If you are working with a contestant under the age of 18 a parent or guardian MUST be present while the contestant is being serviced. Please make them aware.

*We are guaranteeing this opportunity to five people or teams.  Once we reach that limit we will only invite other stylists or artists if space becomes available.

Vendors

We are thrilled to have your interest in becoming a vendor for our 20/21 Christian Miss National Pageant.   It is our intent to offer our contestants every opportunity to enjoy this experience to the fullest.  Thank you for being willing to help us reach that goal!

Our vendor day is Wednesday, June 23rd from Noon - 5PM at Hilton Garden Inn-Lake Forest, IL.  

​

In order to be a vendor you must submit a vendor fee of $75.  A table and two chairs will be provided for all vendors.  We also ask that each vendor donate a prize to each of our 7 pageant winners.

*We are offering this opportunity to five people or teams.  Once we reach that limit we will only invite other vendors as space becomes available.
