PLATFORMS

&

A platform is a cause, issue, or mission that an individual is passionate about and actively advocates for. It represents something the person deeply cares about and works to promote or improve in their community or beyond.  We encourage our girls to develop a platform that aligns with their values and passions. We guide them through the process of identifying causes they care about and help them understand various ways they can shape and strengthen their platform.  We also provide opportunities for them to spread their important messages to others.  Our goal is for each participant to use her platform to glorify God while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Our 2025-2026 Highlighted Platforms

My platform is L.O.L. which stands for Love Out Loud. L.O.L.'s aim is to uplift, give back, and be a light within my community. This is done through various service initiatives and volunteer opportunities. Service initiatives are partnered with local philanthropic organizations, or individually constructed. My platform is salient to me because it allows me to serve the very community and city that has helped shape who I am. L.O.L. is a culmination of the things that mean the most to me; service, community, and positive impact.

When I was little I experienced an extended hospital stay.  Inspired by that time in my life I created my platform, Presents for Patients. Through my platform I donate gifts to teens experiencing extended hospital stays to help them feel seen and loved!

My platform is Be the Light of Indiana, and I work to deliver toys to kids in the hospitals. This year, I am starting a new project called "Crowns for Kids". I am hoping that my sister queens around the country will help by donating some of their crowns to be given to kids in the hospital.

My platform is Kindasaurus.  I use my platform to show others that you don't have to be big to be kind! I spend time spreading kindness in a lot of different ways in my community.

“Serve wholeheartedly,
as if you were serving
the Lord, not people,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬

Compassion Over Compulsion is my platform for spreading awareness and advocacy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It takes am average of 13 years from the onset of OCD to receive a diagnosis. I think the best way to lower this number is by stopping the misinformation and stigma. My efforts to combat this include posting informational flyers on University campuses, educational social media campaigns, as well as a budding partnership with OCD Texas!

My platform is Letters & Love for Veterans. My dad is a military veteran, which means he’s very brave and did really important things for our country like fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom. That’s why I love thanking our veterans!  I've passed out thank you cards at my local VFW and American Legion.

We love watching our young women positively impact their communities. Our desire is to continue to stand beside them by helping them acquire resources to further the work of their platforms.  Your gift of any size will help us do just that. Partner with us with a one-time or recurring monthly donation to ensure that the work of these highlighted platforms continue and expand.

Tiny Temples

Healthy Kids

Teens

&

Tiny Temples: Healthy Kids & Teens is our health and wellness initiative designed to teach young people that their bodies are temples—created by God and worth caring for. Through fun challenges, service projects, workshops, and education on nutrition, fitness, and mental well-being, we empower kids and teens to honor God by making healthy choices.

Tiny Temples

The Face of Tiny Temples

The Face of Tiny Temples is a leadership title awarded to a young woman who embodies the mission of promoting healthy, God-honoring lifestyles among kids and teens. As the official ambassador for our Tiny Temples initiative, she champions wellness through service projects, social media encouragement, and educational outreach. Whether leading fitness challenges, sharing nutrition tips, or spotlighting biblical truths about caring for our bodies, she helps others see that honoring God starts with honoring the temple He created. Her role is both inspirational and action-driven, and serves as a visible reminder that healthy habits and strong faith go hand in hand.

Jen's Monthly Move

Jen’s Monthly Move is where education meets action! Each month, our Face of Tiny Temples participates in a fun, purposeful activity to inspire kids and teens to live healthier, stronger lives- body, mind, and spirit. From creative challenges to service projects and wellness tips, she’s here to help you grow in your faith while making healthy habits something to celebrate. Follow along, get involved, and make your own move to eat right, stay active, and live well!

October was National Children's Health Month!

The Tiny Temples platform is about promoting education and service projects related to wholeness of health of the minds, bodies, and spirits of young people. With that being said, I have decided to focus on the My Plate Intiative!

MyPlate.gov is a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) initiative that helps people build healthy eating habits based on the five food groups: Fruits, Vegetables, Grains, Protein, and Dairy. The goal is to make healthy eating simple, visual, and accessible.

With the direct correlation of promoting proper nutrition through Tiny Temples and the messages about nutrition the My Plate Initiative shares, this is a great pairing!
