At Christian Miss, the nature of community service resonates deeply with our values, embodying the heart of our Christian faith. We believe that true beauty lies in selfless acts of kindness and the dedicated use of our God-given talents to uplift others. Through our unwavering commitment to serving our communities, we not only create a tangible impact, but also mirror the teachings of Christ, who exemplified compassion and humility.
Our mandatory service-oriented competitions stand as a testament to this belief, reflecting 50% of each participant's overall score. By engaging in volunteer service, these remarkable young women not only refine their character, but also leverage their gifts to bring about positive change.
tiny temples: healthy kids & teens
We're dedicated to doing our part to bring awareness to & providing education for a few of today's major issues . Through careful consideration of many worthy causes, Christian Miss has chosen to promote education and service projects relative to wholeness of health of the minds, bodies, and spirits of our young people. Our national platform is called, Tiny Temples, Healthy Kids & Teens. Through Tiny Temples, kids and teens are encouraged to adopt healthy and active lifestyles and are also educated on impactful ways to help stop the stigma associated with mental illness.

​We know that developing healthy habits at a young age contribute to healthy living in one’s adult years. Therefore, we promote the importance of eating right, staying active and living well with an emphasis on increasingly growing as a Christian at all stages of life.
​
We are also aware that there is stigma surrounding many health challenges, and we choose to combat the stigma associated with mental health in our nation. We believe education and encouragement can contribute to better awareness of common mental health challenges children face, improve the utilization of available resources, and increase the number of voices speaking out against mental health stigma.
Christian Miss representatives are at liberty to spread the Tiny Temples messages in as many creative ways as they can. We have also provided useful resources for you to use as you get out in your community to help today's youth embrace healthy living.

Participants in our annual pageant receive 25% of their score from what they do to promote Tiny Temples in their communities.

Designed to showcase their community accomplishments, our Platform Presentation competition encourages our participants to present their chosen service platform before an audience. Each year we love watching our girls passionately share with us the impactful strides they've taken- whether it's in achieving goals, touching lives, or leaving lasting imprints of positive change in their communities.

President's volunteer service award
The President's Volunteer Service Award is a significant and esteemed symbol of outstanding commitment and dedication to community service and volunteerism. It serves as a prestigious recognition presented to individuals, organizations, and groups who have demonstrated a consistent and exceptional contribution to improving their communities through volunteer work. Christian Miss is a certifying organization for this award and holds a remarkable role in facilitating and validating the outstanding volunteer efforts of our participants. This achievement highlights the genuine impact they have made and are committed to maintain to ensure the betterment of society. To earn a President's Volunteer Service Award is an honor that illustrates each recipient's selflessness, dedication, and the positive change they have brought to the lives of others. It is an extraordinary honor and a testament to the meaningful work Christian Miss and its participants do to encourage and support community service. Earning presidential recognition adds an extra layer of significance, making it an even more honorable accomplishment for those who receive it.
